2023 - 2024 ASH Item Writers Workshop
ASH is excited to announce the return of the ASH Item Writers Workshop! Held in conjunction with the National Board of Medical Examiners (NBME), the workshop gives you the tools to develop exam questions that more effectively test your students’ knowledge. Workshops are designed and administered by a team of internationally recognized experts in the fields of test development, psychometrics, and medical education research.
This workshop is divided into two parts. The first is an online tutorial of self-paced learning modules where you will either write a new item or revise an existing item and submit it to be reviewed by NBME test development staff. The second half is an interactive, collaborative workshop where you will work with colleagues to revise items and take part in a group review of items submitted through the online tutorial.
