Descrição
The ASH Journal Club is a series that highlights seminal papers in hematology published in Blood and Blood Advances and features the first author as part of the engagement. Join us on July 20, 2023, at 12 pm ET to discuss “Endothelial cell–leukemia interactions remodel drug responses, uncovering T-ALL vulnerabilities” Blood (2023) 141 (5): 503–518. https://doi.org/10.1182/blood.2022015414.
The discussion will feature special guest and lead author of the paper, Luca Vincenzo Cappelli, PhD, Sapienza Universita’ di Roma. Three moderated discussions will take place on the following topics:
Aspects of basic biology, moderated by Danilo Fiore, PhD, University of Naples Federico II
Troubleshooting techniques, moderated by Swaminathan Iyer, MD, MD Anderson
Clinical implications, moderated by Walter Hanel, MD, PhD, The Ohio State University
Learning Objectives
Come learn about how T-ALL patient-derived tumor xenografts exposed to clinical-stage compounds have drug responses that are mitigated by endothelial cells (ECs). Also learn about how co-cultured T-ALL cells and ECs undergo reciprocal transcriptomic changes linked to bidirectional regulation of multiple pathways and can help identify effective compounds and therapeutic vulnerabilities.
